Mar. 7th, 2017 05:09 pmMy, my. Time flies when you're catching criminals and raking in credits.
For my birthday, I took my sister to Atria and we spent a week at the spa there. I sent her back home with enough Atrian Diamond Dust beauty products to last at least five years. Her ship isn't going to be in the same quadrant as Atria, so it seemed only fitting to make sure she was well supplied.
After that, I visited my parents and they gave me some new art supplies. It's rather hard to find what I like when I'm travelling, so I'm grateful to my parents for knowing exactly what I like. After that, I saw an old friend of mine. We had the most amazing dinner. He grilled up some freshly caught fish and served it with steamed vegetables and rice. I have to admit, I was quite spoiled. He gave me another bamboo plant. Though, this one had been cultivated into a gorgeous pattern, so I couldn't be all that upset.
All in all, I had a very lovely birthday week.

I just finished getting my shuttle upgraded.Along with some other, more dubious things. I'll be setting course for the Karura soon. On my way to the ship, I'll be stopping by Deianira and Amasis if there's anything people want.
Atobe, I want to show you how much I love the sweater you got me, so I'll stop by the Ice Bar as soon as I get on the ship.

Dec. 13th, 2016 05:11 pmI'm currently on Gorsidia. Finally delivering that cat that wasn't really a cat. It's... interesting. Thankfully, I'm not staying long. Just a pit stop before I head to Jakuta. The hot springs there are apparently frozen over this time of year. Who knew that was a thing?

Nov. 28th, 2016 03:55 pmI come bearing gifts. Lots of them. After I visit my favorite bar owner in the entire galaxy, anyone who requested things from Earth can come by my room.
As the best security officer in the universe, I'll personally deliver all of your goods, Shishido. I wouldn't dream of making you come all the way to my quarters after all you've done for me.
In addition to visiting some friends, I got to attend my little sister's commissioning ceremony. Granted, she doesn't start her mission until the beginning of next year, but it was one of those things full of annoying tradition and ridiculous amounts of sentimentality. Nonetheless, I'm crazy proud of her. She'll be working on board the Taihou Maru as a Weapons Officer. The Yukimuras are very skilled with phasers.
Oh, and Atobe, since you seem to be into video games lately, I brought you a couple. Namely, GoldenEye 007 and Pokémon Snap. They seemed right up your alley. At the very least, they'll improve your hand-eye coordination. Unfortunately, Duck Hunt wasn't available.

Nov. 14th, 2016 04:05 pmRomanos was fun. Tausan was interesting. Though the Haunted House didn't have the likely desired effect. I suppose there's always next year.
I'm currently on Earth visiting family. Well, more like tending to my family's garden as winter sets in. It would be a shame if all the work I did on the roses and hydrangea went to waste. I did catch up with some friends from the Academy though. That was fun. Though, their jobs are completely boring. Most are stuck on some ship doing patrol of other planets. Blah blah blah. Spare me.
I'm feeling generous. Atobe, would you like anything from Earth? Fuji, plant food for your cacti? Echizen, Ponta or cat toys? Shishido, Earth foods? Zaizen, tech?

Oct. 31st, 2016 02:00 pmWhat a wonderful time to come back to the Karura. I thought it weird that the ship started orbiting around Tausan since I didn't think it was the kind of place this ship would visit. I'm almost pleased to be proven wrong.
Anyway, glow sticks aside, I'm pleased that there aren't cat toys in my quarters. Kind of wastes the box of body parts I had to do some redecorating, but que sera sera.

I hate to admit this, but Atobe, you threw quite the party for yourself. Did you get your birthday wish? I'm terribly sorry I didn't get to tell you happy birthday in person, but I feel like our rendezvous the previous evening was more than enough. That said, I do hope you'll make some time for me when I come back to the ship.
On that note, I'm leaving the Karura for awhile. As I've already been to Vespa a few times before, I'll be skipping it and heading to another planet. It's a surprise, otherwise I'd tell you and offer to bring back souvenirs.

Oct. 3rd, 2016 03:53 pmI was on my way to Agria when I noticed that the Karura had started orbit around Vespa. It's a lovely planet; you really should visit it if you have the chance. One of my favorite areas is the gardens just south of the Cordia Sea. They have a number of poisonous plants that are good for knocking out a particularly troublesome bounty.
Tezuka, I'm quite appreciative that you've allowed me quarters aboard the ship whenever I stop by. Though, I'm curious as to why there are cat things all over the place. Did my room assignment change?
